Research Focus: Protein (particularly membrane proteins) biogenesis, quality control, function, interactions, and regulatory mechanisms; molecular mechanisms of bacterial dormancy.

Major Achievements: Related research has been supported by funding sources such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Original Exploration Project and the National Basic Research Program (Major State Basic Research Development Program). Has published over 120 academic papers.
