Abstract

ATPase of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae membranes is stimulated by Mg2+. Oua-bain has no effect on the ATPase activity. DCCD and Oligomycin also have no inhibitory effect on the enzyme.The ATPase is inhibited only by NBD and Querce-tin. It can be isolated as a single band with its activity retained by polyacrylamide gradient gel eleetrophoresis.
